Microsoft Teams is a powerful tool that many companies already use. But Microsoft also wants to reach private users, as is well known, maybe even lose them from the classic messenger and bring them into the team. Nowadays, many people use multiple applications and unrelated tools – both online and offline – such as calendar, email, messaging, photo applications, task lists, and documents to manage all of this. You could also do it with Microsoft Teams.
The new functions will be previewed in the mobile application of teams today and fully implemented in the coming weeks: voice call and chat as well as video meetings should come for private users, but at least the group creator must have a Microsoft 365 subscriber in this context.
It will also be possible to share the location – as well as working together on texts – including sharing them. Teams are also provided with a safe that users can use to securely store and exchange important information such as passwords, codes, or login details.
Users can easily share directly from the Teams app, so that, for example, the whole family has easy access to the WiFi password for home or logging in to a streaming service, with security through two-factor authentication and end-to -End encryption should be guaranteed.
