Amazon’s online streaming platform, Prime Video, gets a new Profiles section to separate watch history, downloads, and recommendations
Amazon is making the profiles of its Prime Video service official and available worldwide. However, the distribution can still take some time. As also known from Netflix and Disney Plus, each user can have their own profile, with the Amazon Prime children’s profile video paid options such as borrowing or running content is blocked.
In the children’s profile on Prime Video, only age-appropriate series and films (with an age rating of 12 years and younger) are displayed. Downloads, including those from an adult profile, are still available. They can also be accessed via a child’s profile.

Search results and search suggestions are also filtered. In Prime Video, users can have up to six user profiles (1 standard profile plus 5 additional profiles for either adults or children) on a single Amazon account. So everyone has their own history and their own watchlist. Profile pictures have so far been missing, as has the PIN protection of a profile.
