Today, Apple is announcing via the Apple TV Plus Instagram channel that students will have free access to this new streaming service, as long as they have a student subscription to Apple Music.
It is still unclear whether this promotion also applies to students with an Apple Music student subscription. We have contacted Apple Netherlands and will update this post if we receive a response.
Because the announcement was made via a Story on Instagram, some details are unfortunately still unclear. For example, it is unclear whether this is a temporary action and whether functions such as Family Sharing are also part of this.
Apple services
Should this be the case, Apple has put together an impressive bundle for students. For five euros a month they get access to the full catalog of Apple Music and Apple TV Plus. We have already read about rumors in the past because it can be an interesting way for Apple to compete with Netflix and Disney.
Since this year, Apple has an extensive range of services, with which the company can theoretically offer a large bundle. This would allow customers to enjoy unlimited music with Apple Music, stream movies and series with Apple TV Plus, play games with Apple Arcade, and store files and photos online with an iCloud subscription.

In any case, this student promotion is the first evidence that Apple is experimenting with a similar bundle. So undoubtedly to be continued. Apple TV Plus will be available in the Netherlands this Friday.
