Google Assistant will soon be able to access your personal information from multiple apps at the same time. Think of information from e-mails or your calendar. The feature was discovered in the code of the Google app
Google Assistant
If you’re using an Android phone, chances are, in addition to your standard Google account, you also have a second G Suite account that serves as a work account. This way you use two accounts for your emails, Google Drive, and the other Google services all the time.
That works fine in itself unless you want to get the most out of the Google Assistant. Google is still testing its Calendar integration in the Assistant for G Suite users in beta, and Google can only access data from one Google account. If you want to use your other account, you have to switch accounts.
Google is now going to put an end to the latter, 9To5Google discovered in the source code of the Google app. An Account page has been discovered that indicates that you can add multiple accounts that the Assistant will then consult. For example, you can request reminders, e-mails, calendar appointments, and linked services from the two accounts via Google’s assistant. This can be done on your phone as well as on smart speakers and smart displays.
Unclear operation
For the time being it is not immediately clear how that system will work. You may receive a command with which you indicate that you want to see specific data from your work account, for example, your calendar appointments.
Another possibility is that Google lists the details of your two accounts in one fell swoop. Google can then provide a picture of both your private and work agenda on smart displays. For the time being, we will continue to wait for further developments that will teach us more about how it works. It is not yet known when the function will be available.
