Anyone who uses the web interface of Google’s e-mail service Gmail knows the sidebar on the right, which comes with a few shortcuts, including the Google Calendar. So users can take a quick look at their appointments via the sidebar, which are stored in Google Calendar. However, if you want to edit or create an entry, you have always been redirected to the separate calendar page.
Not long, because Google is currently distributing an update for the function. Users can then edit Google Calendar events in the quick access page area in Gmail as well as Docs without having to go to the full calendar page in their browser.

Users can also use the Find a Time feature to view others’ calendar availability when planning events. Google writes that the distribution could well take 14 days and mentions that the feature is for all users of the G Suite. But should also come for “normal” users.
