Get ready for New Pokémon Snap, an all-new adventure for Nintendo Switch that’s inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap.
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company today announced a new game in the Pokémon universe: “New Pokémon Snap”. Maybe one or the other remembers “Pokémon Snap” for the Nintendo 64. The spirit of the retro game should also continue the new game for the Nintendo Switch.
It is a little strange: Although I have a connection to a number of geek topics, I could never really do anything with “Pokémon”. I have not played any of the games, ignored the trading card game, let the anime pass me by, and feel that “Pokémon Go!” Is boredom. I find “New Pokémon Snap” sympathetic to the game principle.
The development is done by Bandai Namco, who already have experience with the cute monsters – they were also behind the “Pokkén Tournament”. Unfortunately, we are still missing a release date for “New Pokémon Snap”. You will go on a photo safari in the game, so to speak. So the goal is to photograph Pokémon and complete your own photo code.

You should discover new Pokémon behaviors and explore picturesque islands at the same time. Sounds pretty cute and relaxed – if I still had a Nintendo Switch, I would have at least followed the reviews more closely and maybe had a look.
