Do you need the “drone driving license” for Parrot Anafi Drone?

Together with the controller and apps, the Anafi is a completely new product. As with almost all products, there are still problems at the beginning, which today can usually be corrected by adapting the firmware/apps. This is also the case with the Anafi! During the first flights, there was a very strong wind and yet the Anafi was stable in the sky. And once it landed in the tree – because I didn’t wait for the Anafi to get its GPS signal as well.
The RTH then led into the tree. It shouldn’t even be possible to start from the app side. Depending on the terrain, there are now and then warnings of disturbed WiFi – but they all disappeared again after a short time. The video and photo quality is excellent considering the price. With the support of the current Adobe software, you can once again get a lot out of the DNG recordings.
If you want to continue filming after taking the picture, it can take a while before the Anafi makes it possible. Flight times for me are between 20 and 25 minutes with one battery. The Anafi is ready for use very quickly without the “drone dance”, very quiet and really small. In the beginning, the digital stabilization of the third axis of the camera was often criticized, but I couldn’t see any disadvantages here. I will update this review as necessary.

I bought the drone through a warehouse deal – unpacked it and noticed that it was in the original packaging and actually completely new. Actually great.
Turned the first laps immediately after unpacking, no previous experience is definitely necessary. The recordings are absolutely amazing, both video and photos. Most of the time, however, “only” flew at 1080p, as 4K movies eat up a lot of memory, and I honestly haven’t had a good object in front of the lens where it would pay off. BUT: Yesterday I wanted to fly again for 3 weeks, first charged the battery, and then installed the update to the latest software.
We went Unfortunately, for reasons inexplicable to me, the drone (without power) fell from about 10 meters on the ground – and promptly broke his leg. I attribute that to the update because there was never anything on the 70 flights before that. Thank God Amazon has been so nice and takes the thing back – I ordered a new one, of course, and hope that the BUG has been fixed.
